Omar- The produce that is grown in the "Local Farm" can be sold to the nearby grocery stores and restaurants and generate revenue for the institution.

What intrigues me about this image is the board walk that runs adjacent to the LA river. Ideally, it would be cool if we can land a site that touches the river, so that pedestrians, bike riders, joggers, can interlock with the art galleries and be drawn in to view and potentially buy the artwork.

If you notice on the glass it says "Arts District Market". This can be one potential grocery store that can be a customer of the local farm.

Jay- I like the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th concepts because of their unorthodox nature. There is a certain structure, but the details are unconventional. The design of the building sets the tone for the art created inside.
Omar- You hit it right on the money when you described these next three designs as 'unorthodox' and 'unconventional'. That's what Moss's architecture is all about and the reason why they are my favorite projects out of all of them. Moss has a reputation for being an artist and a poet. A lot of his buildings are perceived as esoteric.

This is the project that started it all. Before this project was built, this area of culver city was an abandoned area, with unoccupied warehouses, broken liquor bottles, and bits and pieces of the LA Times.
